The wide range of ergonomic products created today

40 years ago the word ergonomic was barely known to the public. Today all manner of ergonomic products are available. These products which are specifically designed to make sitting at work more comfortable have evolve greatly over those same for decades. When items such as ergonomic office chairs first came out one could hardly have recognized them as being chairs. They were odd S shaped pieces of furniture that did alleviate lower back pain but were for the most part totally impractical for use. However those unique lower back support elements eventually were incorporated into conventional office chairs.
